Tax Senior – Marietta, GA Full Time

Introduction:

We’re partnering with a growing CPA firm in Marietta, Georgia, that’s looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, managing a variety of tax engagements, and contributing to the success of a collaborative public accounting practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
• Assist clients with tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
• Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Research technical tax matters and apply current tax legislation to client engagements.
• Collaborate with Partners and senior team members on complex tax projects.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the firm’s ongoing growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Public accounting tax experience preferred.
• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns.
• Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
• Experience with Lacerte and tax engagement software is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be based within a realistic commuting distance of Marietta, GA.
