Tax Manager (Entrepreneurial Financial Advisor/Business Development) – Rochester, NY Full Time

Introduction:

We’re partnering with an established wealth management firm in Rochester, NY that is looking to connect with entrepreneurial financial professionals who want to help grow the business and expand into new markets.

They’re open to Financial Advisors, retirement-focused advisors, sales and lead generation professionals who bring strong relationship-building skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

And you don’t need to be based in Rochester. The firm is open to remote professionals and is willing to invest in building a satellite office or network around the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Help individuals and families develop financial strategies aligned with their retirement and long-term goals.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and lead generation.
• Build and grow a strong presence within your target market.
• Develop trusted relationships and provide ongoing client guidance.
• Contribute to the firm’s continued expansion into new markets.
• Work independently while collaborating with an established wealth management team.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Financial Advisor, Retirement Advisor, financial services sales professional, or lead generation specialist.
• Strong understanding of retirement planning and/or financial services.
• Proven ability to build relationships and develop new business.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to grow a market.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Strong professional network or established client relationships are advantageous.
• Willingness to help develop and expand into new markets.
• Candidates do not need to be based in Rochester, NY.
