We’re partnering with a growing CPA practice in Dallas, TX seeking an exceptional Senior Tax and/or Accounting Manager to step into a leadership role within the practice.
This is not simply another Manager position. The successful candidate will join at the Director level, serve as a leader and reviewer within the practice, and have a clear path toward Managing Director within three years.
The firm is looking for an A-player with strong experience advising small business owners and entrepreneurial clients, particularly around tax planning, strategy, and broader business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and review complex tax and/or accounting engagements.
Serve as a senior technical resource and leader within the practice.
Advise small business owners and entrepreneurial clients on tax planning and strategy.
Review tax returns, financial statements, and other client deliverables for accuracy and quality.
Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
Identify tax planning opportunities and provide proactive recommendations.
Oversee multiple engagements while maintaining high standards of client service.
Mentor and provide guidance to other professionals within the firm.
Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice.
Requirements:
Senior Manager-level experience in public accounting, tax, accounting, or a combination of both.
Strong experience working with small business and entrepreneurial clients.
Demonstrated expertise in tax planning, strategy, and client advisory.
Strong technical review and leadership capabilities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to operate independently and take ownership of client relationships and engagements.
CPA designation strongly preferred.
Experience at a respected public accounting or advisory firm is highly valued.
Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to take on greater leadership responsibility.
