Senior Tax Associate – Kennesaw, Georgia Full Time

Introduction:

This CPA firm has endless awards, and they are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate to join its Kennesaw, Georgia office.

This is an opportunity to work with a sophisticated and diverse client base, including mid-size businesses, business owners, high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, LLCs, S-Corps, C-Corps, trusts, and estates.
• Support tax planning and wealth-building strategies for businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
• Work with multi-state and consolidated tax returns and research complex tax positions.
• Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining the firm’s high standards for quality and responsiveness.
• Build strong client relationships through ongoing communication and trusted tax advice.
• Coordinate with senior leadership on engagement progress, workflow, and recommended solutions.
• Support and mentor junior tax professionals where appropriate.
• Stay current on changing tax legislation and technical developments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of corporate and personal tax experience within a public accounting firm.
• Experience with tax planning for businesses and/or high-net-worth individuals.
• Exposure to multi-state and consolidated tax returns.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and engagements.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Previous experience supervising or training staff would be an advantage.
• CPA preferred but not required; support is available for professionals pursuing the designation.
• Must be able to commute to the Kennesaw office, with daily in-office availability required during normal business hours.
