We’re partnering with an established CPA practice in Tucson, AZ seeking a Senior Audit Supervisor, CPA with strong public accounting experience and a proven background leading audit, review, compilation, and Single Audit engagements.
This is an opportunity for a seasoned audit professional to manage complex engagements, serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, supervise and mentor team members, and provide technical guidance across a diverse range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead audit, review, compilation, and Single Audit engagements from planning through completion.
Manage multiple concurrent engagements, budgets, deadlines, and client expectations.
Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Evaluate internal controls, risks, and technical accounting matters.
Serve as a primary contact for clients and communicate findings and recommendations.
Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to Seniors and Associates.
Requirements:
CPA designation preferred.
10+ years of progressive audit/public accounting experience preferred.
Strong financial statement audit, review, and compilation experience.
Single Audit and nonprofit experience strongly preferred.
Proven experience managing multiple engagements and leading audit teams.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and financial reporting.
Excellent client communication and leadership skills.
