We’re partnering with an established CPA firm in Los Angeles that is seeking a Senior Accountant who can work across both audit and tax engagements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of client work, and wants to be part of a collaborative public accounting environment.
The ideal candidate will bring solid technical accounting and auditing experience, along with hands-on tax exposure and the ability to manage client responsibilities independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
Perform accounting and financial statement preparation
Assist with tax planning and compliance
Work directly with clients and address accounting and tax matters
Research and resolve technical accounting and tax issues
Review work and support junior accounting staff
Manage multiple engagements and meet client deadlines
Requirements:
3+ years of public accounting experience
Strong combination of audit and tax experience
Experience preparing/reviewing financial statements and tax returns
Solid knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance
Ability to manage client engagements independently
Strong communication and client-service skills
CPA or CPA-track preferred
