We’re partnering with a well-established public accounting firm in Toronto, Ontario, that’s looking for a CPA (US & Canadian Tax) Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced tax professional with knowledge of both Canadian and U.S. taxation who enjoys advising clients, solving complex tax matters, and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review Canadian and U.S. tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Provide tax planning and advisory services relating to cross-border tax matters.
Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. tax legislation and filing requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
Research complex tax issues and develop practical tax solutions.
Collaborate with senior team members on client engagements and planning strategies.
Stay informed on legislative changes affecting Canadian and U.S. taxation.
Requirements:
CPA designation or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience in both Canadian and U.S. taxation is required.
Public accounting experience within a tax environment.
Strong technical knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax legislation.
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines.
A proactive and client-focused approach to problem-solving.
