We are partnering with a CPA firm who are looking for a Tax Senior Manager to join their Dallas leadership team and play a meaningful role in leading and shaping the firm’s growing tax practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across industries.
Lead the tax practice, develop strategies around quality, client service and continued growth.
Manage complex tax engagements and provide strategic guidance across federal, state and local tax matters.
Build long-term client relationships and advise business leaders on complex tax and financial issues.
Mentor and develop tax professionals, help build the next generation of leaders.
Serve as a technical resource on changing tax legislation, regulations and best practices.
Manage engagement budgets, resources, deadlines and team performance.
Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, technology, training and methodologies.
Present tax findings and strategic recommendations to clients and firm leadership.
Requirements:
Active CPA license required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
7+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
Proven leadership and management experience within a CPA firm
Strong knowledge of federal, state and local taxation
Strong analytical, problem-solving and client communication skills
Ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements and drive projects through to completion
